Introduction

This compendium of habitat restoration techniques provides illustrative and detailed information about construction materials and techniques needed to improve aquatic habitats. It was designed to address the key aquatic and fish management objectives for each major waterfront habitat type.

Habitat Targets

Action targets were developed for each habitat type, based on a thorough understanding of the biological and physical factors that currently limit the potential for healthy aquatic communities.
